KUALA LUMPUR: Pakatan Rakyat lawmakers have pointed at the decision to drag Parliamentary proceedings until late into the night as the reason for their absence during the bloc voting to pass the Prevention of Terrorism Act.
PAS parliamentary whip Datuk Mahfuz Omar (pic) said many of them had prior commitments and appointments, adding that the extension of proceedings Monday took them by surprise.
