Kok’s song and dance suggestion has House in stitches

THE Dewan erupted in laughter when Teresa Kok suggested that the Women, Family and Community Development Ministry popularise the national helpline for domestic violence and child abuse by “copying” the song featuring Customs Department officials singing about the new Goods and Services Tax (GST).

“A lot of people are unaware of Talian Nur 15999. Customs officers have a GST song where they sing and dance in it. Why not ministry officers do the same and sing about the hotline?” the Seputeh MP from DAP asked to the amusement of other MPs.
