A total of 53 cases of piracy were recorded off the nation’s coastline over the last 10 years, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim said here.
“Between 2006 and 2014, a total of 53 cases involving waters along the Strait of Malacca, Strait of Singapore and Sarawak were reported,” he said in reply to a question by Liew Chin Tong (DAP-Kluang).
