KUALA LUMPUR: Some sundry shops have resorted to closing down because they have no one to take over the family business, said Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Chua Tee Yong.
The implementation of Goods and Services Tax (GST) cannot be blamed for the closure, he said, adding that such shops also could not cope with competition from hypermarkets and other bigger chains.
