KUALA LUMPUR: The implementation of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) is not the reason why some sundry shops are shutting down, said Datuk Chua Tee Yong.
"We have held meetings with sundry shop associations to identify their problems and we found that it is not due to GST," the Deputy Finance Minister told reporters at Parliament lobby Tuesday.
