Hindu residents in Sepang Valley, Nilai, have objected to moves to revive the unused wet market located next to the Sri Karumariamman temple, Tamil Nesan reported.
Residents pointed out that the temple had existed for more than 50 years before the local council approved the construction of the market. They urged the Nilai Municipal Council not to add to the problem by trying to revive an unwelcome and failed venture.
