PETALING JAYA: In a fresh attack against DAP for opposing PAS' hudud plans in Kelantan, Pasir Mas MP Nik Abduh Nik Abdul Aziz says its Pakatan Rakyat ally has fallen into the trap of political rival Umno.
In a statement Saturday, the son of the late PAS spiritual leader Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat said DAP's excuse to reject the Islamic penal code on the grounds of secularism was actually part of its effort to re-strengthen Umno's secular ideology, which he said was now increasingly vulnerable.
