Woman who tortured hubby’s lover fined


KUALA LUMPUR: A housewife who abducted and tortured an Indonesian woman for a week, supposedly because the woman seduced her husband, was fined RM15,000 by the Sessions Court here.

Judge Zulqarnain Hassan convicted R. Yarputnedave, 43, along with her three accomplices – student M. Pusparani, 27, and security guards R. Kanagarajah, 35 and R. Jeevanathan, 29 – after they pleaded guilty to the crimes against part-time cleaner Marifa Tima, 35.
