Attempts to smuggle drugs through courier service foiled

SEPANG: Authorities foiled three attempts to smuggle drugs through mail parcels in the first three weeks of this month, including one involving methamphetamine hidden in umbrella handles.

KL International Airport (KLIA) Customs director Datuk Chik Omar Chik Lim said it seized 2.213kg of drugs worth RM420,470 and arrested two Nigerians, aged 26 and 29.
