Flight plan decided by instructor

KUALA LUMPUR: It is the responsibility of the flight instructor and not the trainee to determine flight plans and check weather conditions, the High Court was told.

Royal Selangor Flying Club president Abd Razak Hashim, 73, said the instructor had the duty to set the flight plans and check the weather forecast before a trainee’s solo flight while teaching the trainee how to do so.
