KUALA LUMPUR: Some businesses are in a quandary over whether they should register for the Goods and Services Tax (GST) even though their annual turnover does not always reach RM500,000 and above.
Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong said such “borderline” small and medium enterprises (SMEs) were worried because their annual turnover fluctuated and were unsure if they should register.
