PETALING JAYA: The Selangor and Federal governments must stop pointing fingers at each other over the deadlocked water industry restructuring plan and return to the negotiating table, say three non-governmental organisations.
In a joint statement, the Federation of Malaysian Consumer Association, Forum Air Malaysia and the Water and Energy Consumer Association of Malaysia said access to water was a basic right of Klang Valley residents and should not be used as a bargaining chip for political mileage.
