BALIK PULAU: A 31-year-old fisherman has been jailed 10 months by a magistrate’s court here after admitting to beating up a policeman who was trying to arrest him.

Md Ali Hanifiah Md Junus (pic) pleaded guilty to voluntarily causing hurt to Kons Kent Denis to prevent him from carrying out his duty in front of a flat in Jalan Sungai Batu, Teluk Kumbar, near here at about 12.30pm last Saturday.
