Women losing boardroom battle

PETALING JAYA: The number of women in boardrooms here has decreased by 1.1 percentage points despite all the hard work to have more women hold decision-making positions at work, a study shows.

The proportion of female board members in Malaysia dropped from 9.4% to 8.3%, based on the study that examined 1,000 companies across 10 countries in the Asia Pacific region.
