KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Islamic authorities are keeping a watch over peninsula-based Muslim bodies that have been carrying out missionary activities in the state without authorisation, Assistant Minister to the Chief Minister Datuk Mohd Arrifin Mohd Arif said.
He said the Sabah Islamic Affairs Department (Jheanins) had never granted permission to any missionary group to propagate Islamic teachings in the rural areas of the state.
