KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has denied issuing a warning that a tsunami would hit Penang, Langkawi and Perlis.
In a statement on Saturday, the department advised members of the public not to easily believe any advice or warning disseminated via social media, where the source was not MetMalaysia.
