Zahid: Certain groups out to undermine our image


KOTA BARU: Home Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi believes that certain groups are trying to undermine Malaysia’s image “in the eyes of foreign investors” by attacking the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).

He said the Cabinet had been briefed by globally renowned auditing company, Deloitte, which found no anomalies in the managme­nt of 1MDB. He added that Deloitte had told ministers that it was satisfied that there were no anomalies in 1MDB’s accounts and had cleared the company of any wrongdoing.
