PETALING JAYA: The guilty verdict in the recent Federal Court ruling will have no effect on the outcome of Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan's RM50mil civil suit against jailed Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, said his lawyer.
Latheefa Koya (pic) confirmed that Anwar would challenge the civil suit brought against him by Saiful, but said that the Federal Court case was a "separate thing from the civil suit".
