PUTRAJAYA: The Court of Appeal has dismissed an application by the Federal Territory Islamic Religious Council (MAIWP) to intervene in the dispute raised by clerk Jill Ireland Lawrence Bill to use the word "Allah" as her right to practise her religion.
However, the council was allowed on Thursday to hold a watching brief in the cross-appeal by the Government and Home Minister.
