JOHOR BARU: Although the eldest is now 20, two brothers and their sister are now without MyKad, no thanks to their parents’ tardiness in registering their marriage.
Their father, Malaysian Ek Diew Ging, married Indonesian Chinese Shiril from Selat Panjang, Riau, in 1994 but the couple only registered their marriage in November 2001.
