PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s lawyers have termed the Prisons Department's rejection of an application for the Opposition leader to attend Parliament on March 9 as "arbitrary and unlawful".
"This refusal is completely unacceptable and obstructive of the functioning of the Dewan Rakyat," said lawyers N. Surendran and Latheefa Koya, in a statement on Wednesday.
