Firemen trying to remove the bodies from the car at the crash site
BATU PAHAT: Three passengers were killed after the car they were in rammed into a lorry that was parked in the emergency lane at KM91 southbound of the North South Expressway on Monday.
The driver of the car was severely injured in the 4.50pm accident near Ayer Itam and has been sent to the hospital here.
Batu Pahat deputy OCPD Supt Mat Razali Awang said the three victims - two men and a woman - died at the scene.
"We are still trying to collect the information and find out the identities of the victims," he said.
