Cheah's lorry after the crash
SEPANG: He was three weeks away from marrying his sweetheart but an impatient motorist has robbed lorry driver Cheah Teck Yew of that.
Cheah, 46, was travelling home along Jalan Pekeliling after delivering a shipment at the Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT) cargo warehouse at 3.30pm Sunday.
A witness told police that Cheah had just passed a junction and was in the lorry lane when a black Perodua MyVi swerved into his lane.

The car smashed into the lorry driver’s door, causing Cheah to lose control of his vehicle which overturned by the side of the road.
Police said the driver of the MyVi drove on without stopping to check on Cheah.
Cheah’s legs were pinned in the wreck, which also crushed his backbone and caused internal bleeding. He was rushed to the Putrajaya Hospital where he died at 3am on Monday.
Speaking to reporters, his sister Cheah Siew Peng said her brother was going to tie the knot on March 22 and had been looking forward to registering his marriage next Wednesday.
“I hope the police find whoever did this to my brother,” she said.
Police said the case had been classified as reckless driving and were working on tracking down the driver of the MyVi.
