PETALING JAYA: Employers need to fork out three times their usual cost whenever an employee falls sick, said Malaysian Employers Federation (MEF) executive director Datuk Shamsuddin Bardan.
He said this was to cover the cost of daily wages, medical fees and the cost of paying another employee to finish the work of a sick worker.
