MCMC: Good to see telcos cutting charges for broadband

CYBERJAYA: The Malaysian Commu­nications and Multimedia Comm­ission welcomes telecommunication companies that plan to reduce their broadband charges, a move that will see more consumers having access to the facility.

Commission chairman Datuk Seri Dr Halim Shafie said by providing telecommunication services, including broadband at affordable prices, telcos would benefit as they could expect brisk business due to higher demand.
