SIBU: The two men who were arrested in connection with shootings at two premier shopping centres here on Jan 30 pleaded not guilty at the Sessions Court with possessing a homemade shotgun.
Ngu Teck Hing, 23, and Banta Kong, 19, were yesterday charged under Section 8 of the Firearms Act 1971, which carries a jail sentence of up to 14 years and six strokes of the rotan if convicted.
