Container crushes to death woman waiting for bus in Penang

GEORGE TOWN: A woman was crushed to death under a 30-foot container laden with bed frames while waiting at a bus stop in Jalan Air Itam here.

Rescuers took more than an hour to pull the body of P'ng Yew Hong, 47, out from under the container which fell at about 3.30pm.

P'ng was waiting for a bus to go home in Datuk Keramat.
