NUSAJAYA: The Johor state government has approved monthly allowances for all 56 Johor state assemblymen to be raised from RM5,000 to RM9,000 - an 80% increase.
Mentri Besar Datuk Mohamed Khaled Nordin (pic) said that the RM4,000 hike, which was in line with Gred 54, would take effect from Jan 1 this year.
