PUTRAJAYA: The proposed housing guarantee corporation, which is aimed at reducing the number of abandoned projects, will also likely result in more reasonably priced properties being built, said Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government Minister Datuk Abdul Rahman Dahlan.
This was possible as financial institutions would face lower risks in financing the projects since the corporation would take over if developers could not complete the construction of the houses, he said.
