WWF wants cops to clamp down on illegal firearms

KOTA KINABALU: WWF Malaysia has called for a police clampdown on illegal firearms to ensure the safety of fellow law enforcement officers from conservation agencies.

Its executive director Datuk Dionysius Sharma said more aggressive action was needed in this area to curb rampant cases of poaching in Sabah’s forest reserves.
