GEORGE TOWN: Police have recorded the statement of a former beauty salon employee to facilitate investigations into the discovery of three hand grenades, 76 rounds of ammunition and four M16 magazines at a vacant premises in Jalan Tun Dr Awang, Bukit Jambul, here, on Monday.
Northeast district police chief ACP Mior Faridalathrash Wahid said police believed the man, a former employee of a beauty salon which used to occupy the premises, could assist in the investigation.
