GUA MUSANG: About 500 orang asli students living in the interior here had to be ferried by Fire and Rescue Department air unit helicopters to their schools.
Department of Orang Asli Development director-general Datuk Hasnan Hassan said the move was to prevent students from dropping out because the roads to their villages were still cut off after the massive floods that hit the state in December.
