Aquino admits lack of coordination in Philippine clash

MANILA: President Benigno Aquino III has admitted there were lapses in the coordination of the Philippine National Police (PNP) Special Action Force (SAF) with the military during the deadly Mamasapano clash on Sunday. 

Aquino said this was despite his instructions to SAF police director Getulio Napeñas to coordinate with the concerned groups.
