James Nagayam: Debate over caning shows progress


PETALING JAYA: The fact that there are discussions about banning the use of the cane on children shows that society is becoming more progressive said child rights advocate James Nayagam.

James who is also a Suhakam commissioner said this stems from the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) that Malaysia has ratified.
