SEREMBAN: The Coroner's Court here decided that the death of a 43-year-old jobless man while in police custody in Tampin in June 2013 was due to injuries suffered after being physically assaulted by fellow inmates and cops on duty.
Judge Jagjit Singh Bant Singh said on Wednesday that P. Karuna Nithi sustained 49 external injuries due to assault by blunt objects.
