Heroin worth RM8.4mil found hidden in furniture from Pakistan


SHAH ALAM: Police believe they have busted a drug smuggling syndicate with the seizure of 56 kg of heroin worth RM8.4mil hidden in furniture from Pakistan and the arrest of 13 people in two raids in Semenyih on Jan 24.

Deputy Inspector General of Police Datuk Seri Noor Rashid Ibrahim said the heroin was hidden in special compartments in wooden furniture during assembling in the factory in Pakistan.
