TAWAU: The Armed Forces will be placing a full infantry battalion of 650 personnel under the Esscom brigade as preparation against any threats in Sabah once the military camp in Felda Sahabat, Lahad Datu is fully completed.
Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein (pic) said on Saturday that as of now, half of the battalion or 351 personnel and 22 officers were temporarily placed in the Kukusan Camp in Tawau.
