KUALA LUMPUR: The soldier in Gurun, who stole the anti-tank rocket before it eventually exploded had intended to strip the bomb for parts to make a quick buck, police said.
Deputy Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Noor Rashid Ibrahim said initial investigations revealed that the soldier had lined up a few buyers for the bomb’s metal parts.
