KUALA LUMPUR: Muslims celebrated Maulidur Rasul with parades and salutations to Prophet Muhammad nationwide.

The national celebrations of the Prophet’s birthday, themed Perpa­duan Nadi Transformasi Negara (Unity, the Pulse of National Transformation), were held at the Putra Mosque in Putrajaya with Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin in attendance.
