KOTA KINABALU: An alleged leak from a special anti-terrorism training exercise stirred rumours that a son of a former Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) leader was planning to attack Sandakan.
It turned out that the information, purportedly received by the police via the WhatsApp mobile application, was related to a simulation exercise for the security forces.
