JAKARTA: Indonesian president Joko "Jokowi" Widodo said that he instructed all relevant ministries, departments and stakeholders to search for the missing Indonesia AirAsia flight QZ8501 plane since the very first day.

"I was in Wamena, in the middle of a mountainous area in Papua, when the aircraft was declared missing by the authorities on Sunday morning. I was shocked and I thought of the family and relatives of the passengers," Jokowi told journalists at the National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas) headquarters in Central Jakarta on Monday.
