Met Dept denies disseminating info on tsunami warning for Sabah


KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has denied disseminating information of a tsunami and storm which would purportedly hit Sabah’s east coast within 36 hours. 

A statement from the department on Saturday advised members of the public not to easily believe any advice or warning disseminated via social media, whose source was not from MetMalaysia.
