SINGAPORE: Airbus said the Indonesia AirAsia plane that lost contact with Indonesian air traffic control while flying from Surabaya to Singapore on Sunday morning was a six-year-old A320-200 that had carried out some 13,600 flights, amounting to a total of about 23,000 flight hours.
