PETALING JAYA: The Meteorological Department has forecast that states in the west coast will face flash floods if heavy rains persist.
A Bernama report quoted senior meteorological officer Dr Mohd Hisham Mohd Anip of the national weather centre as saying that the forecast was based on the movement of the prevailing northeast monsoon.
