MALACCA: Malacca is witnessing an unusual surge in quarrelsome behaviour that often leads to violence, said its police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Chuah Ghee Lye.
For example, brawls among friends at coffeeshops and cases of domestic violence had caused a 60% spike in the crime index this year, he said.
