KUALA LUMPUR: Police arrested 57 people and crippled an international syndicate alleged to have cheated RM12mil from its victims in six months.
The syndicate, based in China, had been using Malaysia as a hub to scam Chinese citizens in China, via phone scams, which is also known as Macau scams.
