PUTRAJAYA: Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has asked the Administrative and Diplomatic Service to groom mid-level officers early to allow them to hold senior positions for a longer period.
The Prime Minister said the current trend where senior positions such as the post of secretary-general were held by those who were about to retire was not so healthy for a developing country.
