PETALING JAYA: Transparency International (TI) and with five other non-governmental organisations (NGOs) have formed a coalition called Governance, Integrity, Accountability and Transparency (GIAT), to curb and eventually eradicate corruption in the country.
According to TI president Datuk Akhbar Satar, the coalition included the Institute for Democracy and Economic Affairs (Ideas), Sinar Project, Citizens Network for Better Malaysia (CNBM), Centre to Combat Corruption and Cronyism (C4) and Friends of Kota Damansara.
