SHAH ALAM: Parliamentarians have lauded the Cabinet-approved proposal to amend the laws allowing greater independence for the graft-busters commission but said some parts needed further discussion.
Johor Baru MP and Barisan Nasional Backbenchers Club chairman Tan Sri Shahrir Abdul Samad said he was confident Barisan representatives would support the amendment to empower the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).
