KUALA LUMPUR: The group opposing MIC’s previous party poll results has called on president Datuk Seri G. Palanivel to resign following the Registrar of Societies (ROS) ordering fresh elections for key party posts.
Besides the call for his resignation, the group wants an ‘independent and transparent’ election committee to oversee the fresh polls as soon as possible to avoid MIC being de-registered by the ROS for failing to do so.
